petit four using soft Mixture

Ingredients:-

  • 250 gm    Soft flour 
  • 75 gm       Powdered sugar 
  • 125 gm     Cold butter 
  • 1 Big egg
  • A splash of vanilla

Method:

  • Place the butter with the sugar in a deep bowl and whisk well until we obtain a smooth, creamy mixture
  • Add the egg and continue whisking
  • Gradually add the flour while continuing to whisk until we obtain a smooth, homogeneous mixture
  • Place the mixture in a confectioner’s bag and shape it into a tray
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 150 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes or until completely cooked
  • Leave to cool, then add apricot jam, nuts or coconut and serve.
