Eid Cookes using soft Mixture

Ingredients:-

  • 300 gm          Soft flour 
  • 30 gm            Powder sugar 
  • 200 gm         Hot ghee 
  • 25 gm            Roasted sesame 
  • 2 gm              Crystal baking powder 
  • 2 gm              Crystal instant yeast 
  • 10 gm            Coarse sugar 
  • 30 ml             Water 
  • A pinch of salt

Method:

  • Put the water, coarse sugar and yeast in a cup, stir well and set aside.
  • Put all the dry ingredients together (flour, powdered sugar, sesame, baking powder, and a pinch of salt) and stir well.
  • Put 3/4 cup of hot ghee on the dry mixture, stir well until completely combined, and leave to cool for 5 minutes.
  • Add the yeast mixture to the previous mixture and stir with a spoon until we obtain a crumbly and dry mixture
  • We begin to gradually add the rest of the hot ghee to the previous mixture, stirring constantly, until we obtain a smooth dough with no cracks.
  • The dough is divided, shaped, and placed on a baking sheet
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 150 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes or until completely cooked.
  • Leave to cool and serve.
