Low protein flat bread

Ingredients:-

  • 500 gm         Crystal low protein PKU mix            3 cups
  • 350 ml         water                                                       1, 3/4 cups
  • 15 gm           sugar                                                       1 Tablespoons
  • 8 gm             crystal yeast                                      1 packet
  • 30ml            oil                                                              2 Tablespoons
  • 4 gm              salt                                                           1/2 teaspoon
  • 20 gm           Black honey                                        1 teaspoon

Method:-

  • Add water, yeast,black honey and sugar in a bowl, stir well, then leave the mixture for 10 minutes.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the mixer (flour, salt) and add the previous mixture. Continue kneading until a homogeneous dough is formed.
  • Add oil and continued kneading to reasch the strength of soft and flexible dough
  • Flattened the dough to a thickness about 3 mm and form the dough to round shape  about 15 cm.
  • Leave the loaves covered for an hour in a warm place to ferment until they double in size
  • Bake in electrical baking pot or an oven with a temperature of no less than 350 degrees Celsius for 1 minute or until it is completely cooked.
