Basbousa using crystal basbousa

Ingredients: –

  • 300 gm  basbousa mix     1 box
  • 170 gm   Yogurt                       1 box
  • 100 ml    soft butter              1/2 cup
  • 15 gm      fine coconut          1 tablespoon
  • 25 gm      cream                      2 tablespoons

Method:-

  • Place all ingredients at once in a deep bowl and mix well
  • Leave the mixture aside for 10 minutes
  • Pour the mixture into a 20-inch tray greased with butter on all sides
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes or until completely cooked.
  • Add hot sherbet to it while it is still hot.

How to make sherbet:

  • 1 cup coarse sugar          150 gm
  • 1 cup of water                     200 gm
  • Squeeze lemon
  • Place on fire for 20 minutes
