breadcrumbs using European bread mixture

Ingredients:-

  • 225 gm        European bread mix           1 ½ cups
  • 15 gm           Sugar                                              1 tablespoon
  • 4 gm             Crystal yeast                            ½ sachet
  • 4 gm             Crystal baking powder     ½ teaspoon
  • 5 gm             Vinegar                                         1 teaspoon
  • 100 ml         Water                                             ½ cup
  • 30 gm          Oil                                                     2 tablespoons
  • 1 Large white egg
  • A pinch of salt

Method:-

  • Add water, sugar, and yeast to a bowl, stir the mixture well, and leave for 5 minutes until the yeast activates.
  • We mix (flour, baking powder, egg whites, and vinegar), then add the previous mixture while continuing to knead until we obtain a smooth and tender dough.
  • Leave the dough to rest for 3 minutes.
  • We divide the dough into medium-sized balls.
  • Sesame, black seed, cumin, and salt can be added to the individual loaf (optional)
  • We spread the dough on the baking sheet until the breadcrumbs are of the desired thickness (thin or thick).
  • Place the breadcrumbs in a tray lined with butter paper on the bottom.
  • Leave the breadcrumbs to ferment for 40 minutes or until they double in size.
  • Baking is done in an oven preheated to 150 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes or until completely cooked.
