Ingredients:-
Cake ingredients:-
- 450 grams of crystal Chocolate cake mix, 1 box
- 100 ml water or milk 1/2 cup
- 100 ml oil 1/2 cup
- 5 eggs
Sauce Ingredients:-
- 1 cup dates without pits, 250 grams
- 1 cup boiling water 150 grams
- 3 tablespoons of crystal cocoa, 50 grams
- 1 tablespoon oil 20 grams
- A pinch of salt
Method:-
Chocolate date sauce method:
Place all the sauce ingredients in an electric blender and mix well until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy
Leave it aside until it cools
Cake method:-
Add eggs, milk and oil to a deep bowl, then add the crystal cake mixture
Beat well with an electric mixer until the mixture rises.
Pour the mixture into a 24-inch tray lined with parchment paper on all sides
Place in an oven preheated to 160°C for 40 minutes or until completely cooked
Pour the chocolate date sauce over the cake while it is hot, leave the cake to cool, then serve
