French bread

Ingredients:-

  • 500 gm         European bread mix                   3 cups
  • 400 ml         water                                                       2 cups
  • 30 gm           sugar                                                       2 Tablespoons
  • 8 gm             crystal yeast                                      1 packet
  • 45 ml            oil                                                              3 Tablespoons
  • 4 gm              salt                                                           1/2 teaspoon
  • One large egg (optional)
  • Powdered milk (optional)                                 1 teaspoon
  • Black honey (optional)                                       1 teaspoon
  • Soft butter (optional)                                           1 tablespoon

Method:-

  • Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, sugar, yeast, salt, milk powder) and mix well
  • Add the liquids (eggs, honey, and butter) to the previous mixture, then add water and knead well until a homogeneous dough is formed.
  • Add the oil and continue kneading until we obtain a soft and elastic dough
  • Divide the dough into pieces and shape them according to the type of bread required
  • Leave the dough in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes or completely baked.
