How to make Qatayef using soft flour

Ingredients:-

  • 150 gm Soft flour 
  • 300 gm water 
  • 3 gm Crystal baking powder 
  • 3 gm Crystal instant yeast 
  • 15 gm Coarse sugar 
  • A pinch of salt

Method:

  • Place all ingredients in an electric blender and mix well until completely combined
  • Leave the mixture to rest for 10 minutes, then beat for 10 seconds again
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan at a medium to low temperature
  • Pour the Qatayef mixture into the pan according to the required size and wait until it is completely cooked
  • Place the Qatayef on a towel after it comes out of the frying pan.
  • Qatayef is filled with the appropriate filling (cream or nuts).
  • Fry the qatayef in hot oil, and when it comes out of the oil, put it in heavy sherbet, stir and serve.

How to make sherbet:

  • 1 cup sugar 150 grams
  • Water 75 grams
  • A squeeze of lemon
  • Place on fire for 15 minutes and leave until cool
