Low protein French bread

Ingredients:-

  • 500 gm         Crystal low protein PKU mix            3 cups
  • 400 ml         water                                                       2 cups
  • 15 gm           sugar                                                       1 Tablespoons
  • 8 gm             crystal yeast                                      1 packet
  • 30ml            oil                                                              2 Tablespoons
  • 4 gm              salt                                                           1/2 teaspoon
  • 20 gm           Black honey                                        1 teaspoon

Method:-

  • Add all the dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, sugar, yeast, salt) and mix well
  • Add water black honey to the previous mixture, then knead well until a homogeneous dough is formed.
  • Add the oil and continue kneading until we obtain a soft and elastic dough
  • Divide the dough into pieces and shape them according to the type of bread required
  • Leave the dough in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for 12 minutes or completely baked.
