Maamoul using soft mixture

Ingredients:-

  • 150  gm    Soft flour                  
  • 25 gm       Powdered sugar 
  • 15 gm       Milk Powder
  • 80 gm      Soft butter     
  • 20 gm      Water
  • 3 gm         Salt        

Method:

  • Add the butter and powdered sugar to a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until you get a light and smooth creamy mixture.
  •  Add the powdered milk to the flour and salt and stir the ingredients, then add them to the previous mixture while kneading at slow speed until the flour disappears.
  • Add the water gradually while continuing to knead until you get a flexible, cohesive and smooth dough.
  •  Cut the dough into small pieces and filling the piece with nuts or dates and shape it using a maamoul mold, then place it on a baking tray.
  • Bake the maamoul in an oven preheated to 160 degrees Celsius for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
